My name is Andy Twyman (he/him) and I am a Freelance Photographer from Lowell, MA.

At 8 years old my dad brought me to the Grand Canyon and gave me a panoramic camera , I remembered coming home and seeing the long photos of the beautiful canyon lands stretched across the film prints.Later on, I took a bunch of college classes but the only one I actually liked was the darkroom classes.

When I finally discovered what I wanted to do, Photography, It wasn’t offered at my college as a Major , and I got so upset , I was working two jobs and taking a full course of classes, and started for the first time flunking all my classes. Finally I hit a breaking point , it came down to me falling asleep in class from no sleep, I remember I wanted an escape, and I recently heard about a Railroad Revival Tour featuring artists Mumford and Sons , Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros , and Old Crow Medicine Show and decided because Edward sharpe was my favorite band , that I was going to drop out of college and quit my two job to go follow and document the entire Train Tour across the Country.

Though some magic they heard and found my story and ended up helping me in the end , get backstage passes when they found out I was doing this and willing to buy tickets for anyone willing to help me chase the train across the rails.I ended up following the entire tour backstage across America on one of the most epic train tours where we ended up back in New Orleans dancing our heads off that I completed the tour.

For the next 5 years it was like I became family and ended up continuously working with Edward Sharpe on again off again touring. Finally when the Touring started to seem to end and taking a break for a while , I felt in the Photographyworld I still didn’t know anything about digital and in 2018 I decided to put myself back into college at the New England School of photography.

In 2019 I graduated with all Honors in all my classes and now I am here open still chasing my dream of being the most professional photographer and I am more than happy to be working with you.
